It’s with a mixture of sadness and annoyance that we must advise of Carrbridge FC’s immediate withdrawal from the SBWFA for this season.  In immediate terms that means tonight’s Stuart Cup tie is awarded to Grantown, but longer term it’s likely all of Carrbridge’s league results will be expunged from the record and any points lost or won against them similarly deleted. This will also mean that with a 7 team set-up, there will be a free week every Tuesday till season end for each club due to play against them.

We can only apologise to our remaining clubs, but this has been dropped on us this evening so we’ll be discussing it at length later and will confirm the strategy once finalised.
