Rovers withdraw from the Highland Welfare Cup
Due to a chronic shortage of available players this weekend, Grantown Rovers have unfortunately been forced to withdraw from the Highland Welfare Cup.
Opponents Cuminestown have therefore been awarded a walkover into the first round as a result, and Rovers’ interests in all National Cup competitions has come to an end for the season.
However we still have 3 sides left in the competition, plus either Aviemore Thistle or Grantown Utd, with their first round tiesĀ scheduled to be played by 15 June:
Portsoy v Badenoch Utd
Macduff or Craigellachie v Cromdale
FC Abernethy v Methlick
