Unfortunately the extreme weather has claimed its first (an hopefully last) casualty of the season as tonight’s McCook Cup semi final between RBL and Kingussie has had to be postponed due to the pitch at Carrbridge being completely unplayable.

Having already been churned up by a shinty match, the ongoing downpour has washed away all the lines and efforts to reline this morning have similarly been washed away.  The pitch is waterlogged and will not dry out in time for this evening even if the rain does finally stop.

The game will now be replayed next Wednesday 2 May with a 7pm kick off.
