Our last 2 remaining clubs participating in the Scottish Welfare FA’s Scottish and Highland Cups bowed out at the weekend, bringing an end to local involvement in either competition.

Aviemore Thistle went down 3-1 to Scottish Cup holders Mormond Thistle, whilst in the Highland Cup Badenoch Utd lost 3-0 on the road to Hopeman.

The McCook Cup semi finals have been moved to this coming Wednesday to accommodate the National trophies.
